TVS MD invites CM J Jayalalithaa for daughter's wedding

CHENNAI: Country's second largest two-wheeler manufacturer TVS motor company's Managing Director Venu Srinivasan and his wife today called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa to invite her to their daughter's wedding with the son of Infosys Chief Mentor N R Narayanamurthy.

During their brief interaction, Srinivasan and his wife Mallika invited Jayalalithaa to their daughter Lakshmi's wedding with Rohan Murthy, official sources said.

The engagement of Lakshmi and Rohan took place in Chennai last year.

The soon-to-be-held wedding has caught the imagination of the public as it will formalise the union between two companies, both hailing from South India, that are among those who set the standards in their respective industries.
