Tuki meets Prez to discuss political crisis in Arunachal
Against the backdrop of a political crisis in his state due to a tussle between factions of the ruling Congress, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki met President.

"I called on him. I apprised him the situation. The matter is now sub-judice," Tuki told PTI.
Opposition BJP and rebel Congress MLAs got together on December 17 to "vote out" Tuki and to "elect" a rebel Congress MLA in his place but the Gauhati High Court intervened to keep in abeyance decisions taken at the "rebel session".
Congress has accused the BJP of hatching a conspiracy to topple the Tuki government, but the saffron party has maintained that it has nothing to do with the dissidence in the ruling party in Arunachal Pradesh.
The President is here for his customary southern sojourn which concludes on December 31.
