HYDERABAD: TRS and TDP have been involved in a war of words during the last few days over their commitment to separate Telangana and the region's development.

Alleging that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is not in favour of formation of Telangana State, TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao had appealed to the TDP cadres in the region to quit the party.

Asserting that Telangana region witnessed substantial development during the TDP Government, Naidu reportedly wondered how can he be dubbed as being anti-Telangana and took exception to the attack on him.

He reportedly said he is ready for a public debate on "who has done what" for Telangana and the TRS president told reporters that he is also ready for such a debate.
