HYDERABAD: The ruling TRS in Telangana would raise its demand for establishing separate high courts for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during the monsoon session of Parliament, a senior party leader said today.

"Injustice is being done to lawyers and others now. So, all MPs of TRS would seek to stall Parliament for justice (with regard to the issue)," Telangana government's representative in Delhi S Venugopalachary, a former MP told reporters.

The bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh came into effect last year (with Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as separate states).

The high court in Hyderabad is presently serving both the states as per the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.

TRS has been demanding establishing separate high courts for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

TRS MPs had earlier met Union Ministers and also the common Governor for both states ESL Narasimhan recently in support of their demand.
