HYDERABAD: TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao today asked the party cadres to hold protests on Andhra Pradesh Formation Day on November 1 saying that injustice was meted out to Telangana.

The Formation Day should be treated as "day of betrayal" and the TRS activists should express their protest by hoisting black flags, he said in a release.

Andhra Pradesh was formed on November one, 1956, by integrating all Telugu-speaking areas. AP was the first state to be formed on linguistic basis.

Maintaining that injustice was meted out to Telangana region on all fronts in united Andhra Pradesh, TRS describes November 1 as the "day of betrayal" and organise protest every year.
