Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi today reviewed the status of different railway projects in West Bengal and called for their early completion.

KOLKATA: Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi today reviewed the status of different railway projects in West Bengal and called for their early completion.

During a meeting with general managers of Eastern, South Eastern and Metro Railways here, the new railway minister reviewed the status of different projects.

Railway Board Members (engineering) A P Mishra and (advisor safety) Sunil Kumar were present.

Trivedi asked the GMs to take suitable measures to improve security and safety of train running.

The GMs of zonal railways briefed Trivedi with the details about the ongoing railway projects in the state.
