Tripura government orders magisterial probe into the scuffle between the tribals and non tribals

GUWAHATI: Tripura government has ordered a magisterial probe into the violence in Agartala on August 23.

There was scuffle between the tribals and non tribals during the rally of Indigenous Peoples’ Party of Tripura (IPFT). At least 25 people were critically injured in the clashes. Several vehicles were damaged.

IPFT is demanding creation of a separate Twipraland state. At least 25 people were critically injured in the clashes. Several vehicles were damaged.
