Tripura BJP MLA Ashis Das may join Trinamool Congress

With speculation doing the rounds that BJP MLA in Tripura Ashis Das may join Trinamool Congress, Das said that political anarchy and chaos are going on in Tripura.

Das after shaving his head and performing a yagna in Kolkata’s Kalighat temple, said that political anarchy is going on in the BJP ruled Tripura and people are unhappy with the performance of the state government.

He refused to disclose if he will join TMC. Tripura unit BJP president Manik Saha said that they are observing everything and in the right time appropriate steps would be taken.


The MLA from Surma recently criticised Prime minister Narendra Modi and praised West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee. He said that many people want Banerjee as the Prime minister of India.
