Trinamool to take two IIM interns before Lok Sabha polls
The TMC has decided to recruit two interns from the IIM in Kolkata to help the party devise and execute effective communication strategies.

Nine final-year management students at the premier B-school have already applied for the internship which will begin from March, Trinamool spokesperson Derek O'Brien told PTI.
"We are overwhelmed with the response. Nine have applied already, but we can accommodate only two. We will shortlist some of them based on their CV and then call them for an interview," Derek, the Rajya Sabha MP who is also a quizmaster, said.
During the interview the party would test the candidate's communication skills and understanding of Indian politics.
The selected interns would work at the TMC headquarters on Topsia Road with the party's communication team and All India Trinamool Congress Yuva president Abhishek Banerjee.
Derek said they would be allotted assignments like designing and executing the party's communication strategies, sharpening social media skills, handling logistics, etc.
The last date for applying for the internship is January 31.
In 2011 before the state Assembly polls, the party had similarly taken two interns Hariharan Sriram and Mansha Tandon.
