Trinamool Congress to oppose petrol price hike in Parliament

KOLKATA: Voicing concern over regular increase in prices of petrol and diesel, the Trinamool Congress today said it would oppose this in Parliament on Monday.

"It (today's hike in petrol price) was announced conveniently on a weekend. Trinamool Congress will oppose this in Parliament on Monday," party MP and spokesman Derek O'Brien said.

Petrol price was today hiked by Rs 1.40 per litre.
