A similar complaint was filed with the Lok Sabha Speaker against Purnia MP Pappu Yadav.

In a letter addressed to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, the MPs stated, "Such remarks not only undermine the dignity of the office but also violate the sanctity of parliamentary procedures and conventions. This is a clear manifestation of the elitist and anti-tribal mindset of Sonia Gandhi who is yet to understand the struggle and the sensitivity of a tribal poor".
In a letter addressed to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, the MPs said, "These anti-women and anti-tribal and derogatory comments portray the President as a mere puppet, lacking autonomy and dignity, which is totally baseless and unjustified."
Yadav had called President Murmu "a stamp...She just has to read a love letter".
