Tremors felt in parts of Uttarakhand

NEW DELHI: A medium intensity earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale hit Uttarakhand late on Thursday night.

According to National Centre for Seismology, the epicenter of the quake was Pithoragarh in the state and it struck around 11.30 pm at the depth of 15 km.

There were no immediate report of any casualty.

Tremors were felt in Nainital, Chamauli, Bhimtal and Pithoragarh
