Transgressions along Line of Actual Control due to differing perceptions: Government
Jaitley added that, "Government regularly takes up any transgression with the Chinese side through established mechanism."

In response to a written question in Rajya Sabha, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley said, "There have been no incidents of intrusion by Chinese military along India-China border. However, due to differing perceptions of the LAC and both sides patrolling up to their respective perceptions, transgressions do occur."
Jaitley added that, "Government regularly takes up any (instances of) transgression with the Chinese side through established mechanism."
Further, replying to the query whether the government was aware about China carrying out rapid military modernisation and extensive infrastructure development along the border, the defence minister said that there was full awareness of the security needs of the country.
"Military capacity enhancement and modernisation of armed forces, including of armaments and ammunition, is a dynamic and continuous process and done in consonance with our threat perception," Jaitley said.
