Train services of South Eastern Railway partially affected due to Bharat Bandh
Train services of South Eastern Railway have been partially affected due to agitations at different stations in view of Bharat Bandh.
In Adra division agitation at Muradih which was staged has been withdrawn. In Chakradharpur division agitations were held at Rajkharswan, Barbil, Deojhar, Adityapur & Salgajhari stations.
It forced the railways division to short terminate a few trains and cancel a few. Trains that were short terminated includes Bhadrak-Howrah Passenger, that was short terminated at Kharagpur and will run between Kharagpur to Bhadrak only for today.
Bangriposi-Baripada-Bhubaneswar Express will be short terminated at Rupsa and will run back as corresponding down train from Rupsa to Bangriposi. Kharagpur-Bhadrak Passenger will be short terminated at Balasore and will run back as corresponding down train from Balasore to Kharagpur.
Puri-Howrah Duronto Express from Puri was cancelled, so was Howrah-Puri Duronto Expresss , Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express, Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express, Kharagpur-Balasore passenger and Rourkela-Puri Passenger.
Trains that suffered detention enroute were Guwahati-Thiruvananthapuram Express, New Delhi-Puri Nandan Kanan Express, Howrah-Puri Dhauli Express, Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express, Howrah-Barbil Jan Shatabadi Express, Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Express, Howrah-Pune Duronto Express, Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express, Danapur-Durg South Bihar Express, Barbil-Puri Express, Mumbai-Howrah Geetanjali Express, Alappuzha-Tatanagar Link Express, Ahmedabad-Howrah Express, New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express, Chhapra-Tatanagar Express, and Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express.
