JAIPUR: After the Gujjar called off their 8-day long agitation, traffic on the Agra-Jaipur national highway and a state highway in Sawaimadhopur has resumed while the Delhi-Mumbai tracks have also been cleared.

The railway track is being examined by the railway officials to restore it for the trains movement while the vehicular traffic on the highways has begun.

"Agitators cleared the tracks after the announcement of their leader Kirori Singh Bainsla to end the agitation. The situation has returned to normal and railway officials are examining the tracks," SHO Bayana Mahaveer Singh said.

Police said that the NH-11, which was blocked in Sikandara in Dausa, has also been restored.
