Nagpur: Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) workers and supporters during MVA's 'Vajramuth'.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi, an alliance of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav ), Nationalist Congress Party and the Congress party, will be meeting on Saturday for the first time after NCP leader Ajit Pawar's short-lived flirting with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Senior MVA leaders like Uddhav Thackeray, Ajit Pawar and other leaders are meeting today to fine-tune the joint rally of the MVA that would be held on May 1. While the MVA has been using the rallies to project a united front, things are not as rosy for the MVA as they seem.

Ajit on Friday claimed in an interview that he found it extremely difficult to work with Prithviraj Chavan who was the Congress Chief Minister in 2010.

"My experience working with Uddhav Thackeray has been good.. However it was not the same with Prithviraj Chavan. Due to the top leadership (of NCP), we were forced to work with him as there was no other option, "said Pawar. State Congress Chief Nana Patole took on Ajit Pawar, saying, "you should have quit the government instead of complaining."

While MVA leaders like Aaditya Thackeray, NCP state President Jayant Patil and Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap met on Saturday to discuss the May 1 rally, senior party leaders from both the Uddhav group and the Congress are not so sure as to how long the MVA will remain united.
