Top bureaucrats meet, will seek protection

NEW DELHI: With three top retired bureaucrats getting charge-sheeted by the CBI in the past 18 months, babus are seeking protection from the government in decisions ratified by political bosses.

The executive committee of the IAS Officers’ Association on Saturday approved a resolution to provide retired officers with as much protection as serving officers.
