TN to supply rice, one lakh litre of milk to Kerala

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu government has assured supply of 10,000 tonne of rice and one lakh litre of milk to help out Kerala which was facing a "grave situation" due to shortage of food products, Kerala Food and Civil Supplies Minister C Divakaran said on Saturday.
The Minister, who held discussions with Tamil Nadu Food, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Ministers in this regard, told reporters that he had sought 'chamba' variety of rice as it was not being widely utilised in Tamil Nadu.
