TMC's Sudip Bandyopadhyay promoted Rose Valley, financially benefitted from it: CBI charge sheet

Sections under the Prevention of Corruption act have been slapped against him along with the charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating and serious sections of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act. Bandyopadhyay has been charged for “abuse of official position by public servant”.
According to the CBI chargesheet , Sudip Bandyopadhyay appeared twice in programmes of Rose Valley, promoted the company and accepted approximately Rs 27 lakh for it.
The chargesheet was filed in special court meant for Prevention of Corruption Act. Tapas pal has been booked for his direct involvement. As per the chargesheet, Trinamool MP Pal, was a director in one of the Rose Valley companies. He wrote to the RBI and to the Union finance ministry complaining against other chit fund companies while praising Rose Valley.
