Kolkata: With an eye towards the 2026 assembly polls, Trinamool Congress has organised a mega organizational meeting on Thursday, which will be addressed by Trinamool Congress Supremo Mamata Banerjee to give a road map

Altogether 15000 plus workers, activists, MLAs, ministers, MPs and Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee will be participating in the programme. Panchayat level and grassroots workers of Trinamool Congress, members of Panchayat to Zilla Parishad-all were present in today's meeting.

The Netaji Indoor Stadium is abuzz with party workers and leaders to attend the mega event.


Veteran MP Saugata Roy said, "Our leader Mamata Banerjee is our party Supremo. We will get a roadmap for the 2026 assembly polls."

Jadavpur MP Sayani Ghosh said, "We will listen to our leaders Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee give us guidelines. If there is any need for organizational changes, our leaders will do the necessary work."

The party leaders and workers are eagerly waiting for guidance by the top leadership as the party is getting ready with its preparations for the 2026 assembly polls. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has recently said that she will win the 2026 assembly polls with a two-thirds majority.

"We are waiting for grassroots level programmes and we will start working on it," Trinamool MLA Mosharaf Hossain said.

While entering the mega meeting, Debasish Kumar, who is MLA, said "There is tremendous excitement among the workers. We all want to participate and listen to what our Trinamool Supremo tells us."

There are possibilities for organizational changes. West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu, "Our party Supremo will give us guidelines for the next one year. We will implement it in our constituency and take the programmes ahead."
