TMC does not believe coming session of Parliament should be dominated by boycotts: Derek O' Brien
KOLKATA: Reiterating the party's stand on not disrupting the Parliament procedure , TMC national spokesperson and party's leader in Rajya Sabha, Derek O' Brien in Twitter said that his party would not support "shouting matches and boycott" in the winter session .

"The government has lost its way but not its arrogance. It continues to insult and mock parliamentary protocols. For all their big talk the two big national parties BJP and Congress are the first to want to short circuit Parliament," said Derek O' Brien.

He further adds, "TMC does not believe the coming session of Parliament should be dominated by shouting matches and boycotts. To agitate from the word go in the winter session would be unfair to the people of India."

Advocating for cooperative federalism, he said ,"Centre has made claims of cooperative federalism. TMC wants a practical demonstration of it in operative federalism."
