'Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is BJP's Trojan Horse in INDIA bloc': TMC's Abhishek Banerjee
Calling Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury "BJP's Trojan Horse", Trinamool National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Monday lashed out at Congress and held the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee (WBPCC) chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury responsible for the rift between Congress and Trinamool in INDIA alliance.

"He (Nitish) is old and wise enough to understand what is best in the country's interest. If he thinks, by siding with the BJP and by changing sides every six to months, in democracy, it is extremely important, what the people decide and not what a leader is doing. We are living in democracy and not autocracy," Abhishek Banerjee said.

Trinamool Congress leadership was silent for last two days after Nitish Kumar's resignation and oath taking on Sunday. Kumar was the first to convene INDIA Bloc's first meeting in Bihar and ahead of that had visited Bengal to meet Mamata Banerjee, when the idea of INDIA bloc was budding.

"We should leave it to the judgement and wisdom of the people of Bihar. We have to wait for a few months to see what Bihar does," Banerjee said.
