NEW DELHI: A day after BJP' leader Jyotiraditya Scindia's self-complementary tweet for securing significant Cabinet berths for his supporters, "tiger abhi zinda hai" (the tiger is still alive), Congress' Digvijaya Singh tweeted, "only one tiger lives in a forest", in what is seen as an indirect reply to Scindia.

“Do you know the character of a tiger? In a forest, only one tiger lives.” Political observers attributed the reference to deepening of Digvijaya-Scindia fight after the latter joined BJP. Singh followed it up with another tweet referring to the heartburn in BJP after the Cabinet expansion.

“Time is very powerful. You never know how many BJP tigers got alive with this expansion of Cabinet. Just watch”. Singh recollected how he and Madhavrao Scindia used to hunt tigers before it was banned: “After Indira Gandhi introduced the Wildlife Conservation Act, I now capture tigers only on camera”, Singh tweeted.
