Three-phase panchayat polls in Uttarakhand from June 18

DEHRADUN: Panchayat elections in Uttarakhand will be held in three phases on June 18, 21 and 24.

A notification to this effect has been issued, official sources said here today.

As per the notification, the counting will take place on June 27.

Panchayat bodies in Uttarakhand completed their tenure in September last year, but elections could not be held on time due to the devastating floods in the state.
