Three killed after boundary wall collapses at IIM Indore
Three people were killed after a boundary wall collapsed at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore on Wednesday.
Those killed included the wife and two children of the owner of a temporary tea shop built outside the boundary wall.
No students were injured in the incident, said a spokesperson for IIM Indore.
“Some people had done some unauthorized construction outside the boundary wall of the campus. We had communicated this several times to the authorities but no action was taken. Today the wall collapsed and fell on that structure,” said the spokesperson, who said that the heavy rains over the last few weeks may have led to the collapse.
