Three Jharkhand Congress MLAs held in West Bengal with huge amount of cash

Irfan Ansari, MLA from Jamtara, Rajesh Kachhap, MLA from Khijri and Naman Bixal, MLA from Kolebira were travelling in the vehicle, who are being questioned at the police station.

West Bengal: 3 Jharkhand congress MLAs held with huge amount of cash in car
A huge amount of cash was recovered from a vehicle in Howrah's Panchla on Saturday from a vehicle where three Congress MLAs from jharkhand were travelling.

Following a tip off, Howrah Rural Police intercepted the vehicle and seized the cash, police said. The three Jharkhand Congress MLAs, including Jamtara MLA, were travelling in the vehicle. Police have brought a counting machine to count the money.

"Following a specific input, we intercepted a vehicle with a huge amount of money. Three Jharkhand MLAs were in the car. We are arranging the counting machine to ascertain the MLA. Three MLAs, including Rajesh Kachhap, Irfan Ansari, are questioned," Howrah Rural Superintendent Swati Bhangalia .




Irfan Ansari, MLA from Jamtara, Rajesh Kachhap, MLA from Khijri and Naman Bixal, MLA from Kolebira were travelling in the vehicle, who are being questioned at the police station.
