Three high intensity IEDs recovered in Bihar's Gaya district
The security forces today recovered three high intensity Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) from roadside in Bihar's naxal-affected Gaya.

During search operation, the CRPF jawans recovered three powerful IEDs lying on the ground in Luchitand village, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manu Maharaj said.
While one IED weighed 25 kg, two others were 20 kg each, he said.
The explosives were defused by the bomb disposal squad, Maharaj said, adding that prima facie it appeared that the Maoists had planted the IEDs to carry out subversive activities.
The recovery assumed significance in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Gaya yesterday to address the NDA's 'Parivartan Rally' at Gandhi Maidan ground.
