Three close aides of BJP MP Arjun Singh join Trinamool Congress

In a further jolt to the BJP in Bengal, three close aides of Lok Sabha MP Arjun Singh joined the Trinamool Congress on Sunday.

This includes former Bhatpara Municipal Corporation chairman Sourav Singh and former MLA Sunil Singh.

Sourav Singh has been nominated as candidate for the upcoming civic polls from Bhatpara by the BJP, and had already submitted nomination papers while Sunil Singh, the former MLA of Noapara, was a candidate for the Noapara municipal polls from BJP. Sunil Singh, his son Aditya Singh and Sourav Singh, nephew of Arjun Singh, have withdrawn their nomination papers on Saturday before joining Trinamool.
