Third, Fourth fronts no longer existent: BJP

BJP said country's polity is bi-polar one with NDA & UPA as main players.

NEW DELHI: BJP on Wednesday said both the Third and Fourth Front were no longer existent and the country's polity was a bi-polar one with NDA and UPA as the main political players.

"The Third Front and the Fourth Front have ceased to exist a week after the announcement of Lok Sabha results. India is now truly a bi-polar polity with NDA and the UPA as the main political rivals," BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley said.

Jaitley said though the Lok Sabha election results were below BJP-led NDA's expectations, the alliance would soon gear itself up for the battle ahead.

He said the aim would be to get up to 300 seats for the NDA alliance in the next Lok Sabha polls.
