When Science Got A Boost: The Prime Minister's 119th Mann Ki Baat has inspired a new nationwide initiative - One Day as a Scientist. The Education Ministry has written to all states, urging them to create strategies to ignite student interest in STEM and research. Schools are now gearing up to arrange visits to premier institutions like IISc, ISRO, IITs, and DRDO, with plans for student interactions with scientists and hands-on experiences. ISRO and DRDO are reportedly already seeing packed calendars.

CM’s Theatre Days Take a Backseat
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, once atheatre enthusiast, has had to sideline his passion for the arts after taking political office. He was known for playing King Vikramaditya’s father in the popular play Samrat Vikramaditya. Though he won't be performing anymore, the play is set to be staged at Delhi’s Red Fort grounds over three days in the second week of April.


A Light Moment in the Rajya Sabha
After a marathon session that ran till 4 am, the Rajya Sabha reconvened at 11 am with visibly low attendance. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, possibly affected by the long hours, momentarily forgot to formally adjourn the House sine die after his closing remarks. A marshal discreetly reminded him, prompting a quick about-turn and the official adjournment. “I thought I’d try something new,” Dhankhar joked, lightening the mood in the House.
