UPA-II will be releasing apps for i-phone and Android phones, apart from e-books, for users to access its report card on its fourth anniversary. It will come out with two reports — government’s 2012-13 progress report and UPA’s nine-year performance since 2004. Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh will put up a show of unity, with Gandhi speaking on achievements in the social sector and Singh reflecting on revival of growth, speedy clearances of projects, liberalised FDI, etc.

Not a bad idea since Irani, who lost by a huge margin to Kapil Sibal in the Chandni Chowk LS seat, will have her RS seat to fall back on if Diskhit turns out to be too formidable a rival. If she wins, then sky is the limit.
