Punching Holes
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's statement that INDIA bloc will win 79 of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh elicited a lot of laughter. But Yadav had a bigger aim in mind - to punch holes in BJP's "chaar sau paar" slogan. "If BJP can give any big number, why can't we say something to enthuse our cadre?" he has been telling reporters on the election trail.

Search Continues
The Opposition parties facing fund crunch is an old story. But every day is a struggle for party officials who have been assigned duties in different states. Last heard, Congress functionaries were looking for affordable accommodation in a state since the party had no arrangements for them.

Family on the Ground
After sitting idle for the last few days, Haryana BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi is finally campaigning for the party. He campaigned for Sirsa BJP candidate Ashok Tanwar. However, his elder brother Chandramohan is campaigning for Congress candidate Kumari Selja in the same constituency.
