Third eye: Piloting classes, quotes and poetry session & weapon of 'Maha' laughter

Piloting classes: Congress leader Sachin Pilot has taken an additional responsibility of teaching at London School of Economics as a senior visiting faculty. It will not be time bound. Pilot can take five-to-six classes as per his convenience. He will teach students in Indian politics and society.

Quotes and poetry session: Taking a cue from Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget presentation, Rajasthan deputy chief minister Diya Kumari’s budget speech was full of quotes and poetry. She started her speech with poetry and then went on to quote Swami Vivekananda, Bhimrao Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Gopal Das Neeraj and Mahabharata. Kumari ended her speech with another poem.

Weapon of Maha laughter: Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar inaugurated a small arms facility of a private manufacturer during a recent visit to Pimpri Chinchwad. On company representatives’ prodding, both tried their hands at the assault rifles which will be manufactured there. Aiming the rifle at the assembled crowd and reporters, Pawar said: “We both will shoot all of you… Publish good stories about Mahayuti government or else.” He then waved the gun mockingly around. Even Fadnavis could not control his laughter.
