Supreme Court advocate Brijesh Kalappa, who quit Congress in 2022 to join AAP, left it in 2023. On Thursday, he announced that he is rejoining Congress and has sent a letter to the KPCC president seeking his readmission. On Tuesday night, Poonia developed severe stomach pain, and was taken to a hospital in Rohtak. The doctors performed a surgery to remove his appendix. But without wasting any time, Poonia got back to work from the hospital itself on Thursday morning.

Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi on Friday afternoon visited the Humayun Tomb in the city and went directly to the museum. The Congress leader spent some time at the museum and then quietly left the place along with some people accompanying her.
