Nationalist Congress Party - Sharadchandra Pawar (NCPSP) was still holding onto the party office in Patna due to its national party status. However, as NCPSP lost its national party status after the Lok Sabha and assembly elections, the Patna administration forced the party to vacate its Patna office.

West Bengal governor CV Ananda Bose has started a tribal outreach programmeAamar Gram (my village) — from Raj Bhavan. The programme aims to foster goodwill and develop a connect between Raj Bhavan and tribals. Bose visited Ausgram and watched traditional Santali dance performances. Later, he interacted with locals and discussed people’s daily lives, needs and challenges. With the help of the Red Cross Society, essential items were distributed among the tribals.
