Holy dips, political ripples: Several chief ministers have taken a holy dip in the Sangam during the Mahakumbh, but two visits stand out. On February 6, Tripura CM N Biren Singh, along with his entire cabinet, took part in the ritual-just days before his resignation on February 9, fueling speculation. Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar also visited Prayagraj on Sunday with his family, even as Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge questioned the government's promotion of Mahakumbh.

Inside State Delegations
An RTI inquiry revealed that Telangana sent the largest delegation-18 members, including CM Revanth Reddy-to the World Economic Forum in Davos this January. Maharashtra followed with 12 representatives, while Andhra Pradesh had 10, including CM Chandra Babu Naidu, Minister Nara Lokesh, and even Nara Brahmani, Lokesh's wife.

The Commentary Comeback
TMC MP Nadimul Haque raised concerns in the Rajya Sabha about the declining standards of cricket commentary on All India Radio. To restore its former glory, he suggested forming a dedicated commentary team, proposing noted commentator Harsha Bhogle as its captain.
