The party’s digital communication team, which operates from the ‘war room’ at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj road, has been asked to relocate to a Mahadev Road premises — with immediate effect. The new campaign strategist and his team will now occupy the fabled war room.

Samajwadi Party functionaries have been taken aback by appointment of Shivpal Yadav as in-charge of party’s UP affairs, while CM Akhilesh Yadav happens to be state unit chief. Party leaders are apprehending that it is the handiwork of expelled party leader Amar Singh who has of late got the ears of party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. Amar Singh is learnt to be on divideand-rule policy within the SP leadership’s first family. He is on a spree to promote Shivpal to extract an RS seat.

Manohar Experience

The batch of newly selected civil servants, training in Mussoorie, will draw their “inspiration” from Haryana CM Manohar Lal on Friday. Manohar has been invited to deliver an “inspirational” speech to the IAS probationary officers at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. Politicians who have made “significant” contribution to the society are invited to share their experience with the officers.
