Cadets ready for yoga drill

The Yoga bandwagon continues to get more participants. The National Cadet Corps has announced its participation in the International Yoga Day on June 21, when about 10 lakh cadets will hold the drill at 1,900 venues across the country. The country’s largest uniformed youth organisation will thus achieve the largest Yoga demonstration by a uniformed body in a single day.

After impressing residents of Bangladesh through his tweets in Bangla, Modi has now tweeted in Russian. Last Friday, Modi greeted people of Russia on their National Day by tweeting in Russian and invoked time-tested partnership between the two nations. The HRD ministry has finally relieved IIT-Delhi director RK Shevgaonkar, almost six months after he resigned. Since he could not discuss his state affairs with Gandhi on his last visit to New Delhi, he has sought an appointment again.
