Her husband Devendra Tiwari was also a chief secretary in Jharkhand and is currently the state election commissioner after his retirement. Rajendra Kumar Tiwari, elder brother of Devendra Tiwari, was the chief secretary of UP. Dhirendra Tiwari, younger brother of Devendra, is currently serving as additional chief secretary in Punjab. The Tiwari family hails from Mahoba in UP and is probably the first such family to have three chief secretaries.

Lost in Jharkhand, Found in Bengal
PM Modi will address a public meeting in Chaibasa on Monday. An SPG team, traveling to the spot to take security under its control, got down from New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Tejas Rajdhani Express in Jamshedpur on Thursday, only to realise that they had lost one bag in the train. The railway officials at the Jamshedpur station were informed about the same and the bag was recovered at Hijli station in West Bengal. The SPG personnel had to go to Hijli to recover the bag and return to Jamshedpur.
