The fact that he was present during the pre-lunch ruckus made his absence during the post-lunch session all the more glaring. Hope Sinha’s penchant for belligerence against the UPA did not make him feel ‘misfit’ when his party joined hands with the government.
Netaji’s screen dilemma
A documentary on SP chief Mulayam was recently screened in his presence in Delhi. The documentary by filmmaker Shankar Sohail, a former assistant director to the legendary filmmaker Bimal Roy, is called ‘Sarathi’. While the film claims to offer rare footage of MSY, the title could be a little discomfiting. After all, he hopes to be PM after the 2014 polls, rather than a charioteer to those aiming for the job.
MP Congress in reverse gear
After ET reported Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee’s take on rupee on its official Facebook page ‘MPCCOfficial’, a red-faced state unit has removed the page from the social networking site. But MPCC is in a state of denial pretending that it could have been ‘a fake message’ posted on its official website. The official spokesperson of the state unit said that the party had lodged a police complaint.
