When RJD leader Sanjay Kumar was speaking on the budget in Rajya Sabha on Thursday, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi, sitting by his side, was seen constantly lauding his remarks. In the middle of his speech, she was suddenly asked to chair the House proceedings. As she took the chair, everyone, including Chaturvedi herself, smiled at the role reversal.

After he had to vacate 12 Tughlaq Lane house following his brief disqualification from Lok Sabha, Rahul has been staying with his mother Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath, even after his membership was restored.


Pension Matters
Pension issues have become hot buttons in government circles as officials discuss integration of rules across services. Word has it that the finance ministry is opposed to the idea as some railway services rulebooks, if applied across the government departments, may inflate pension bills considerably. Matter will soon head to the Cabinet Secretary.
