Uddhav Thackeray a true sanatani: Jyotirmath Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand
Jyotirmath Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand visited Uddhav Thackeray at the latter's residence on Monday and took on BJP and Shiv Sena (Shinde), claiming that Thackeray was betrayed and that it was wrong to break Shiv Sena.

"In our religion we believe in good deeds and sin... Betrayal is the biggest sin... Uddhav Thackeray has been betrayed and a lot of people are pained due to it. Today I came here on his request, I told him that we are all pained that you have been betrayed and that till you don't become the chief minister of the state again, this pain will not go away," said Avimukteshwaranand after meeting Thackeray.

On the BJP and Shiv Sena's allegations that Thackeray had abandoned Hindutva, the Shankarcharya said, "Whose Hindutva is real has to be seen, but those who betray cannot be Hindus. Those who suffer betrayal can be Hindus because they have been betrayed," claimed the seer.
