Thackeray flays Patil, Khadse for meeting Kasab
Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has termed as "shameless" the meeting of state Home Minister R R Patil and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Eknath Khadse with 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab at Arthur Road jail recently.
"What was the need for you to shamelessly visit the prison and meet Kasab? Are you going to respect common man's sentiments," Thackeray was quoted as saying in party mouthpiece 'Saamana' today.
Kasab is alive and enjoying government hospitality, Thackeray said.
Kasab and nine other terrorists had struck Mumbai two years ago leaving 166 people dead. He was sentenced to death by a special court in May.
