Terrorising judiciary shouldn't be tolerated: Bengal Governor

Amid ruckus outside the court of justice Rajasekhar Mantha of the Calcutta High Court by a section of lawyers, West Bengal governor CV Ananda Bose in a strong message to the state's senior officials said that terrorising judiciary shouldn't be tolerated, sources privy to the development said. During a high-level meeting at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday evening, Bose asked home secretary BP Gopalika and Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Kumar Goyal to ensure safety of judges, people in the know told ET.

After the instructions, the state administration filed an FIR at the Hare Street Police and beefed up security outside Mantha's residence.
