TERI complainant reacts to RK Pachauri's promotion
Describing it “shameless”, the complainant in the sexual harassment case against RK Pachauri has hit out at the governing council of TERI for “promoting” him.

In a scathing open letter on Tuesday, the complainant has written that it “makes my flesh crawl” to learn that a “man who stands booked on charges of sexual harassment and stalking” has been given a “promotion” by the governing council of TERI. That she was “quarantined from work”, not allowed to “resume work” and “no earnings for a long time” for raising her voice, she has written that it is “getting beyond my dignity” to remain associated with “such an organisation”. She has said it was “most disturbing” to find “zero support” from the organisation in such a scenario.
Notwithstanding all this “I assure”, she has written, that she will take the case to “its logical conclusion”. Reacting sharply to the official announcement, of Pachauri’s promotion, by TERI on Monday the complainant has written “It was around October 3, 2015, that I first heard of the man (Pachauri) looking to maintain his foothold in TERI. I was skeptical in thinking that the organisation would not pour cheap, third rated oil to the existing smouldering fire”. But with an official announcement made yesterday, she says “I was so wrong. Shamelessness abounds !”.
