Telangana records over 1800 coronavirus cases in one day, death toll reaches 761
Telangana's case fatality rate on account of Covid-19 stood at 0.71%, lower than the national average of 1.86%. The government reported that 46.13% of the deceased had died of Covid-19 while 53.87% passed away due to comorbidities.

The state public health department said in a bulletin on Monday morning that six persons had succumbed to the virus in the 24 hours till Sunday night, taking the death toll to 761.

The public health bulletin said 1,825 persons recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 82,411 by Sunday night. The recovery rate in the state stood at 77.67%, higher than the national average of 74.9%.
By Sunday night, the state reported 22,919 active Covid-19 cases, including 16,482 persons in either home or institutional isolation.
The state tested 36,282 samples on Sunday, pushing the total number of tests by Telangana so far to 968,121. The health department said it was awaiting results of 895 samples. The number of tests per million people amounted to 26,076 by Sunday night.
