NEW DELHI: The frequent run-ins between the Centre and the Telangana government is being sought to be pared down, especially after it became very rocky following the clarification from the home ministry that the governor of Telangana shall have special responsibility of law and order in the city of Hyderabad.

The state government has been quietly making tracks to get the PMO on its side. Sources in the K Chandrashekhara Rao’s CMO say the CM has been actively seeking an appointment with the PM and has asked for some time after he returns from his trip to Singapore.

Recently, K Kavitha, daughter of KCR and first time MP in the Lok Sabha, has been allotted her father’s old ministerial bungalow on Tughlak Road despite the fact that she is not a minister. Urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu was prompt in this allotment as a good will gesture.
