Telangana bill to be tabled in winter session: Sushil Kumar Shinde
"The Telangana bill will be tabled in the winter session," Shinde told reporters, indicating that the process for creating the new state is being expedited.

This confirms an ET report on Thursday that said the new state of Telangana could be formed by the end of this year itself as the sixmember Congress core committee had signed off a decision last week setting the said timeline.
The Congress Core committee last Friday decided to push a resolution to create Telangana through the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly by the end of this month and then get it passed by Parliament during next month’s winter session.
“Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has been called by the Group of Ministers (GoM) for a meeting on November 18,” Shinde said on Thursday. Home ministry officials say the Cabinet will subsequently approve the GoM’s report next week or the following week, paving the way for Telangana Bill to be sent to President Pranab Mukherjee.
The Andhra Pradesh assembly will then be asked by the President for the state legislature’s “view” on the Telangana Bill. The winter session of Parliament is from December 5 to 20 and the government aims to get the bill passed by a simple majority.
