The leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly, RJD’s Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, and Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani will address a meeting in Delhi on January 29 on the issue of the 10% reservation recently mandated for economically weaker sections.

“Upper caste reservation is the first step,” said Yadav, who has been strongly opposing the new quota. “This government is working on an agenda of taking away reservation from the deprived people.” The meeting is being organised at Constitution Club by Samvidhan Bachao Sangharsh Samiti.
