A 17-year-old boy was today killed when he fell down from a DMU train in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

JAMMU: A 17-year-old boy was today killed when he fell down from a DMU train in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, GRP officials said.

The victim identified as Ravindra Singh, was travelling in the train from Jammu to Udhampur, when he suddenly fell on the track at tunnel number 20 in Ramnagar area, Government Railway Police (GRP) officials said.

He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.

A case has been registered in the matter, they said, adding that investigation is on in the matter.
